Since then she has continued to apply pressure and within a short time frame enhanced her skillset and delivered her new single “Off this Runtz”. With the growing presence of women in the music industry, what makes you stand out?

30Shells: Um, It’s already a talent in itself to make a song. It’s already a talent to rap. It’s already a talent, but when you have that creativity behind it, that’s always going to set you apart. So I feel like that’s exactly what I got going on and I feel like that’s whats going to set me apart. Um, and I feel like, because when I’m going into something like I want people to look at it and when they look at me. I want them to be like, “She really put her creativity into this. She really down to the earring, down to the fingernail, down to the jewelry. She really had her mindset on these details”. I want that to come through every single time.

What was your experience like filming the music video for “Off This Runtz”?

30Shells: My experience with shooting “Off This Runtz” was absolutely great. Soon as I heard the beat, I’m just like I need to get on this beat. Like the beat was perfect! Shout out to Snipe, he really did his thing on that beat. Soon as I heard it, I’m like I gotta go for something like bouncy and fun. Um, shout out to Dewey Cox for shooting the video. I’m telling you as soon as we got to the video set. First of all, shout out to my sisters for being in the video. We had a great time! We loved getting dressed for it. We loved the theme. We loved shopping for it. Like this was a two week stretch of preparing for the video. There was a scene we were gonna do that we weren’t able to do. Just due to not having enough people or just like the setting. We were supposed to do a sleepover scene um we weren’t able to do that, but everything just turned out great. And we were running around all morning like it was actully a journey of a day. Like it was quite a crazy ass day, but when we got to the set, I was like I know this video is going to be hard. Like just the whole vibe as soon as I got there, shout out to Dewey Cox he was playing my song over and over again. Like, so I’m like I know this is going to go good. The scenery was good. Um normally I go into things stressing like oh my gosh I’m bout to have to stress about this, worry about it. Make sure everything turns out how I want it to turn out.But Dewey Cox really put his foot in that video, like he had his ideas too. Both of our ideas made like a great ass video. Um he did great on the editing like he was like very good at directing the video. And like telling us where we should be at and what we should be doing and like what like the vibe he was going for. So it was very like easy, it was a breeze. Um soon as I left the video shoot feeling like. This is the one!

If you could collaborate with any artist in the music industry who would it be?

30Shells: There’s honestly so many people I would like to work with. Like I can’t even name a couple, like male artists I would love to work with Lil Yachty. I would love to work with him. He’s a very creative person like it just shows through all of his projects. Um, SoFaygo I would love to work with him. He’s one of my favorite artist. Uh, there’s just so many, Robb Banks. I love his music too. I don’t know there’s just so many I can’t even pick. Female artists that I would love to work with? Again there is just so many. I love Rico Nasty, I would love to work with her. I love SZA. I love Lakeyah. I love Glorilla. I love like I feel like my creativity. I love Avril Lavigne. Fucking Miley Cyrus like I love all of them. So I can’t really say like theres one. But I feel like my creativity I can probably make a banger with any of those artists I just named.
