The Brooklyn New York native Chinese Kitty recaptures the energy of the east coast 2002 Dipset anthem ‘oh Boy’ by Harlem artist Cam’ron. Cameo appearances from Dipset alumni, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana in the Gerard Victor directed visual added a stamp of approval to the leader of the kitty gang’s already glowing resume of qualifications.
The nostalgic aroma was not void of Chinese Kitty’s own enthralling royal fragrance. Her commanding presence on the FelMax recreated production was fluid, rhythmically in the pocket and lyrically on message. She is too formidable to be approached by a boy. Only a real man is capable of appreciating her feminine prowess and she has no time to waste on an underdeveloped insecure masculine psyche.
Fully embracing the Cam’ron inspired track and even donning a pink fur coat for the single’s cover artwork, Chinese Kitty had this to say regarding the overall experience of the creative process for the song and visual.
“This video is already my favorite!!! ‘BOY OH BOY’ FINALLY OUT NOWWWWW!! THIS ONE FOR NEW YORK!! Thank you [Jim Jones] [Juelz Santana],” – Chinese Kitty

While Cam’ron was unable to be available for the filming of the music video, its obvious that he approved Chinese Kitty to carry the torch and keep New York warm throughout the winter. What do you think? Was the leader of the Kitty Gang cooking on this one? When you first heard the song, did you say to yourself “BOY OH BOY” I gotta put this one on my playlist?
