Trippie Redd continues to pour out flammable content onto his existing explosive catalog with the release of his single and accompanying visual for the song LGLG. The new release ignites the anticipation for his upcoming LP “Life’s A Trip 2” slated to drop before the end of the year. It certainly appears that the Ohio native is getting back to his lane of delivering catchy repetitive hooks laced with dark lyrics with equally villainous production as the backdrop. This year Trippie has been relentlessly locked in with consistent releases from “Bando Kid”, “LWRW”, “TIL THE END” and now “LGLG”.
Trippie Redd Links Up with Director Mooch For The Visual
The Mooch directed visual offers a night time glow that cleanly lights up the screen for our favorite villain to do what he does best. Even the shots of Trippie Redd at the gas station come across like scenes out of an action film where our protagonist is prepared for anything that may come his way. For roughly three minutes the video keeps the viewer efficiently contained in Trippie’s world with no wasted footage from start to finish.
The song is indeed a standout in that it has an epic devotion to a high energy soundscape with heavy brass elements and a smooth 808 hum. He effortlessly throws his weight around on the Igor Mamet, Sapjar, Sammy Haig produced track. Hitting his listeners with bars about scoring with other men’s wives, gruesomely gouging out his enemies eyeballs and driving around in expensive foreign sport cars. Trippie Redd stays in his bag and keeps the mosh pit dangerously violent.
“I’m with your bitch, I’m with your boo
I’m with your lover, I’m with your wife
I bet you love her, I just pipe
I just gon’ pipe, I just gon’ pipe
I’m just gon’ fuck, hit her one night
Then I am out, out like a light
She ride like a bike, that’s that shit I like” ~ LGLG
