Detroit star Tee Grizzley connects with newcomer Skilla Baby for their latest visual titled “Gorgeous”. The track appears on their joint album ‘Controversy’. The duo tag team the beat with rambunctious energy and highlight their extravagant lifestyle.
Tee Grizzley normally doesn’t collaborate with other artists on his projects, however it is fitting that this full-length album be with the likes of fellow Detroit talent Skilla Baby considering their level of creative energy. The rising artists are both in the process of carving out their own lanes and this “Controversy” mixtape puts them in a great position to continue to do so.
In a sit-down with the Detroit Metro Times, Skilla Baby explained why he and Tee Grizzley decided to link up.
“We worked together a couple of times and we liked how we worked together, and we felt it made sense if we did a project together.” – Skilla Baby
The project consists of 12 tracks with only them trading bars back and forth in a more orderly fashion in each song. It is likely that this will not be the last time we will hear the dynamic duo on projects together.
