SMG JUNGLE WORKS WITH DIRECTOR HOMMY F.A.
SMG Jungle manages to display his charisma and star power in full measure in the Hommy F.A. directed visual for the single. Each scene throughout the over two minute video makes it easy to stay interested in everything “Jungle” says. The Steve Lacy “bad habit” sampled production by “FeryFlame” seems to fit like a perfect glove to Jungle’s nonchalant but witty flow.
His delightfully abrasive lyrics are a constant in how he structures his verses and its obvious that this is not his first session in the recording booth. Despite his threats and aggressive bars his words still have some creative flair. He acknowledges in his lyrics that navigating the streets has caused some open emotional wounds and therefore creating for him some admittedly bad habits.
SMG Jungle is able to flip those bad habits into positive energy with more songs to add to his growing list of consumable content. When reviewing some of his earlier work dating back to 2022 it is immediately observable that Jungle is becoming increasingly comfortable in traveling his own path as a creative.
The challenge for him maybe becoming less available for street activity and more present for his development and evolution as a recording artist. Will SMG Jungle continue to expand his presence in the culture? Only time will tell but until then do yourself a favor and add him to your playlist today.
