West Michigan and Kansas City artist ‘SleazyWorld Go’ teams up with Chicago native and rapper Polo G for the ‘Will Freeark’ directed visual for the single “Off The Court”.

SleazyWorld exhibits his witty wordplay and menacing storytelling over the melodious Einer Banks & Sheffmade production as both artists pay tribute to the professional basketball player Ja Morant and compare his controversial and equally sensational career to their own.

The music video in one respect serves as a form of light social commentary. Without giving us a preachy dissertation, the song and visual inadvertently speak on the challenges of existing in two worlds simultaneously.

One world being the environment that comes with mainstream corporate success and the other world being the humble beginnings of navigating street politics and the adjacent elements of gang culture that tend to come with it. When ‘SleazyWorld’ spoke on the intentions of the song he served up a more simple and less clandestine explanation.

“Polo and I wanted to create a record that pays tribute to the iconic Ja Morant. Just like Ja’s game leaves a lasting mark on the court, our music careers have been on a similar trajectory, making waves and leaving our own mark in the industry. As a rookie of the year, Ja Morant goes hard every game, and his dedication to his craft is reminiscent of our own commitment to create dope tracks for our fans.” – SleazyWorld Go

SleazyWorld Go’s last release was “Where The Shooters Be 2” with a lengthy list of notable features from Lil Baby, G Herbo, Rich The Kid and more. So it seems the ‘Sleazy Flow’ artist continues his war path towards increased stardom and brand expansion with yet another solid collaboration.

Already his Spotify profile statistics indicate a nice uptick in streams coming from the city of Chicago, which could mean that Polo G’s presence on the track added the additional motion that it was supposed to. Say what you want to say about it, but what’s undeniable is the fact that the record is doing some serious numbers On an “Off The Court”.
