The edgy Isaac Garcia directed music video shows Rico dressed as a sexy maid that came to do more than clean up as she terrorizes and takes the homeowners hostage. Rico Nasty has managed to successfully display her ability to blend the genres of rap, trap and punk throughout her catalog and this tradition continues in “Turn it up”.
Her rhythmically raspy vocals reign heavenly over the “100 gecs” produced heavy kick-drum beat. Like a Glock with a switch on it she clicks it into high gear, keeping the energy levered up and firing each bar like a hot projectile. “Turn It Up” appears to deliver to her fans a clear message that she is on a mission to take them back to the “Sugar Trap”, a trademark for her version of rap where her journey first began.
