With the release of ‘Strike (Holster)’ Yachty reasserts his viral dominance by tapping into the same energy we felt when he dropped his previous single ‘Poland’. The track was first teased to fans when the director of the ‘Strike’ visual, Cole Bennett posted about the song on his Instagram account and Yachty tweeted a picture of a gun in a holster on his twitter page.
The single didn’t seem to let his fans down either, as it’s growing popularity is driven by his now signature sound of underwater altered vocals intertwined with trap influenced production.
Those two ingredients serve up a unique combination that leads to heavy replay value and lots of play-listing curation for the Atlanta native for not only ‘Strike’ but also the accompanying songs ‘drive ME crazy! and ‘the BLACK seminole’.
