WHERE ARE YOU FROM? AND HOW DID YOUR ENVIRONMENT SHAPE YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS?
So, yeah, I’m originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming, but I actually started doing a lot of my music stuff out in Aurora, Colorado. I don’t really think it was the environment that shaped my creative process so much. I think it was like my life experiences that really shaped it at the end of the day. But yeah.
WHO ARE SOME ARTISTS YOU WOULD LIKE TO COLLABORATE WITH IN THE FUTURE?
Fo sho, I’m gonna have to put Anderson Paak at the top, fo sho, uh, Trippie Redd. Definitely, definitely Jasiah, you know what I’m saying? Jasiah definitely influenced a lot of my music.
WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND YOUR SONG “THE A” AND DID THAT HAVE ANY IMPACT ON HOW YOU WENT ABOUT CREATING THE MUSIC VIDEO?
Like the story of the A and stuff like, you know, I’m from Aurora, Colorado, so it’s really just me doing my daily life fucking shit. You know what I’m saying? This is just what I do at the end of the day. It is just fucking make music and fucking do hooligan ass shit 24/7… No, it didn’t really impact the video at all. Um, I’m a videographer, you know what I’m saying? So that day I was just feeling like shooting a video for it. I was just ready. So I just started shooting, you know what I’m saying? And you know, it just kind of came out the way it did. I’m glad people like it, but I’m glad I was able to put my hometown in it, Aurora, and I’m glad I was able to put, you know, the people that I work with in that video. You know what I’m sayin.
