Rising Bronx recording artist Connie Diiamond recruits KenTheMan for her “Move” Remix. The song samples the Ludacris classic “Move B*tch”. The dynamic duo asserts themselves ferociously over the beat with menacing bars and glowing personality. The accompanying ‘Shot Selection Media’ directed visual shows Connie doing what she does best, igniting the crowd with her magnetic stage presence and entrancing performance. The lead single “MOVE” off of her recent album titled “Underdog SZN” epitomizes the velocity of her career, which has been a consistent blaze of movement since the buzz began in 2016.
In that year she hit the culture over the head with a convincing freestyle to the artist Drake’s ‘Summer Sixteen’ record and then followed up with a rendition of the artist DaBaby’s song ‘Ball If I Want To’, both sparking viral moments. From being featured on 300 entertainment’s live performance platform ‘300 UNPLUGGED’ to getting Co-signs throughout her career from her peers like Fivio Foreign, Remy Ma and hip hop legends like Ludacris she continues to turn heads and make waves. Recently even NBA player and superstar LeBron James wrote on his Instagram Story regarding the “Move (remix)”,
“Man she bodied that sh*t!!! WHOA [head-blown and fire emojis]” – LeBron James
When speaking about what impact she intends to leave on the culture she stated,
“I just want people to view me as an overall creator and not just a phenomenal female rapper. I want to just be a phenomenal artist overall.” – Connie Diiamond
At the rate she is going it is reasonable to label her artistry as phenomenal. Only time will tell if she will be able to cement her legacy in the culture as being one of the greats along with the legends that came before her. So what is your opinion? Does Connie Diiamond “MOVE” you to add her to your playlist?
