Fivio Foreign continues the momentum of his Brooklyn movement with the release of his single “Why Would I?”. The one minute and forty six second lyrical warning statement is directed to his opposition. The song clearly conveys that nothing has changed and that he is still successful and therefore undeterred by his haters’ empty threats.
The accompanying “JLShotThat” directed visual seems to document one singular fact, that Fivio Foreign is outside and remains active. From socializing in the streets, to working in the studio and to even playing pick up basketball games with the gang in the gym, Fivio is unhindered by any enemies that may be lurking around in the shadows.
“Why Would I?” is like many of Fivio Foreign’s previous releases, it is high energy and laced with aggressive word play. The track easily keeps the listener engaged. Fivio informs his fans in the lyrics of the song, that he is in full control of his operation and won’t allow anyone to trick him out of his position. As he says in the last verse
” Im keeping a positive image cus n*ggas is going to jail for drillin and rappin” – Fivio Foreign
He is wiser, smarter and more determined than ever to keep his crown as the King of New York.
